Invisalign clear aligners are transparent trays which are customized according to your teeth and which moves your teeth just like braces does, into alignment. Clear aligners are provided in sets. The number of aligners will depend on your specific orthodontic problem. You will wear each new aligner set for a specified amount of time, removing them only to eat, drink, brush and floss. Process of Invisalign

X-Rays – The next step will be to take the x-ray records of your teeth. Getting an x-ray done for the teeth is especially important to step as these impressions will help to create the digital model for your aligners and to know how the teeth will move throughout your treatment. During the treatment, you will be requiring multiple sets of aligners so x-rays help to make the orthodontist sure about the proper alignment of the teeth.

Invisalign Aligners – The next step is to send the records to Invisalign once the impressions are done. After receiving the custom aligners, it will help to move the teeth into alignment. These aligners are to be worn 20-22 hours a day to get the treatment done properly and to complete it on time or else it may lead to a delay in the treatment.

Maintaining the Aligners- You can brush them gently with a soft bristled toothbrush and toothpaste and rinse them in lukewarm water. Never use hot water on your aligners — it could permanently warp the plastic.
